A message from the principal.

Central to our culture is our restorative approach, strengthened through our partnership with Real Schools. At Wangaratta West Primary School, repairing relationships when harm has occurred is at the forefront of what we do. We focus on building understanding, taking responsibility and restoring connection. This approach helps students develop empathy, accountability and the skills to resolve conflict in positive and constructive ways.

We are proud to foster a culture where students are supported not only to learn, but to truly thrive and contribute. We want our learners to leave Wangaratta West Primary School as capable, compassionate and confident young people who understand their impact on others and their ability to make a positive difference in the world.

I am truly honoured to be the Principal of Wangaratta West Primary School and to lead such a proud and connected school community. Wangaratta West is a place where students, staff and families work together to create an environment in which every child is supported to grow, learn and flourish.
